This is a reminder that Spring Sports and Who’s Who pictures will be taken on Monday, April 13th. We will begin first thing in the morning, so please ensure that if your student is taking pictures, they come to school with everything they need (uniform, picture form, and correct payment).

We were honored to have TFC Clay Flake from the Mississippi Highway Patrol and Mercetia Jenkins from the MS Department of Rehabilitation Services speak with our Juniors and Seniors today. They shared important insights on making responsible choices before, during, and after prom this weekend. Their message was clear and impactful: P.R.O.M – Please Return On Monday.

We appreciate them taking the time to invest in our students’ safety and future. Let’s all work together to ensure a fun, memorable, and safe prom season!

We were honored to welcome Mr. Marquice McCallum from Jackson State University's Alcohol and Drug Studies Center to speak with our CCHS juniors and seniors today.

He shared powerful insights on the dangers of drugs and alcohol, with a strong emphasis on the risks of drinking and driving. Students also had the opportunity to experience “drunk goggles,” a hands-on demonstration that showed just how much drugs and alcohol can impair your senses and decision-making.

Thank you, Mr. McCallum, for helping educate and empower our students to make safe and responsible choices!
