Meet Sue Tarver, who is a graduate of Weir, MSU, & ULM. She is our amazing choir teacher, who likes to play the piano & quilt. CCHS is special because she loves to see kids learn & succeed beyond their wildest dreams. She wants to provide kids with an education to be successful.


Meet Miranda Worrell, our awesome Earth&Space Science/ACT Prep teacher. She is a graduate of MSU, who enjoys spending time with family. CC is her home, & she can’t imagine anywhere else she'd rather be! CCHS is special because she loves to connect & form relationships with kids.

Meet our great 8th grade English teacher & MSU graduate, Stephanie Wiggs. She likes to write novels, bake, & play with her two dogs. She loves the CCHS staff! CCHS is special because she enjoys kids joyously & actively engaging in literature to see from different points of view.


Meet our awesome Biology teacher, Alison Hulett, who graduated from MSU & Ackerman. She likes to travel & play with her kids. CCHS is special because she is able to help kids have a great school experience like she did. She loves to form relationships & teach new things to kids.

Meet Emily McDonald, our great 10th grade Special Education Teacher & a MSU graduate. She enjoys reading, painting, gardening, spending time with family/friends, & her dogs. CCHS is special because of the students & faculty. She loves helping kids achieve their goals.

Meet Kelsey Lawrence, our amazing English III teacher & a MUW graduate. She likes to spend time with family, camp, & watch her boys play baseball. CCHS is special because she loves getting to know the kids & making a positive impact on their future. She loves her school babies!

Meet Valarie Lampkin, our Study Skills & Jr. High History teacher, who graduated from MSU. She likes to shop, travel, & spend time with family. CCHS is special to her because she gets the opportunity to make a difference, build relationships, & inspire kids to do their best.


Meet Suzanne Crider, our amazing Algebra I teacher who graduated from MSU & Ackerman. She likes to read, take walks, travel, & do things with her family. She loves math & helping students realize that they love math too! She enjoys being able to teach the kids of Choctaw County.


Meet Mariann Beals, our awesome 11th grade special education teacher, who graduate from UNA & Blue Mountain. She enjoys the beach, golf, antique shopping, Ole Miss football, & time with Arlin & Ava. CCHS is special to her because of the relationships, the connections, & the kids.


Meet our A&P teacher, Zoology I & II teacher, and head girls basketball coach, Mandy Jewell. She enjoys watching MSU sports and visiting her lake house at Pickwick. CCHS is special to Mandy because she was born and raised in Choctaw County. She loves teaching because of the kids.


Meet our World History teacher who attended MSU, Kristin Hollis. She likes hunting, fishing, & spending time with her family. She loves CCHS because she gets to watch kids grow & improve. Kristin enjoys teaching because it is a way to help others & be a positive role model.


Meet Bradley O Herod, who is at our alternative school, a pastor, & a graduate of Ole Miss. He likes to read & Alabama football. CCHS is special because he helps educate the most valuable resource the community has, its children. He enjoys helping kids become productive citizens.


Meet Tara Thames, who likes to cook, read, & spend time with her son, Sherlock. She is a great special education teacher, who graduated from William Carey & USM. CCHS is special because she loves to help & encourage kids to overcome obstacles. She enjoys helping kids see success.
