"On autumn nights, a battle is fought,
Not with swords but with skill
and thought.
Seek not the competitors racing by,
Nor the lights that shine so high.
Instead, find Ms. Liberty, who stands her ground,
Though she never makes a single sound.
Where entry begins and hands exchange fare,
Search with care - your clue is there."
Be the first one to find Lady Liberty, take a selfie with it, post the picture here or email it to melissastevens@choctawsd.ms and you will win 100 points for your grade.... GOOD LUCK!!!

It's time for Wednesday's Homecoming Scavenger Hunt Clue! Help Charley find his Statue of Liberty.
"She stands for fairness, truth,
and right
Watching over both day and night.
Though she may hold scales instead of a flame,
Another famous lady shares her fame.
One represents justice, steady and wise;
The other lifts a torch toward the skies.
Where laws are honored and decisions are made,
A symbol of freedom has been carefully laid.
Visit the place where Lady Justice keeps her watchful eye,
And seek her torch-bearing cousin standing nearby."

"I welcome many, yet I never say a word.
I stand where neighbors assemble and voters are heard.
Or for a special dinner or a holiday market, they do gather.
Or for a line dance or a reunion,
if they'd rather.
People come here summer, spring, winter, or fall,
To the center of our community;
come one, come all."
